Dutch Cruiser 1938 Steel 13m
Built in 1938 this dutch steel « double-ended » hull is an unusual and attractive design. Made to take the coastal waters aswell as inland the boat has two cabins, twin berths forecabin and large double berth aft where there is a shower and electric WC. Galley with trimix refridgerator and a gas oven & two burner hob and a large dining area.
Interior and exterior pilot stations having an electric driven bow thruster makes easy manoevrability. The boat is driven by a beefy 100hp DAF 6 cylinder diesel which starts on the button. A must see for anyone considering a longterm cruiser or liveaboard. Secure mooring available in a port with services. Recent hull survey (2022) the hull has been re-painted and new magnesium anodes fitted.

Two intelligent battery chargers fitted (one 12v & one 24v) for charging whilst plugged to shorepower. Solar panel 250w with two 200Ah Gel batteries for service together with two traditional 12v batteries coupled for 24v starting.
Twin alternators assure both systems are charged while running the engine. Hot water is provided by a gas boiler and an electric water heater is in place but requires plumbing in and wiring to the electrical system.
Shower and WC waste is evacuated into a holding (blackwater) reservoir which can then be pumped out from a suitable station or emptied direct to sea. Large capacity S.S. Water tanks and equally large volume fuel tank gives the boat a long range autonomie. In addition a 5kva inboard raw water cooled diesel generator is installed for further 240v power supply. Ready to cruise
